About Me
From growing up in a refugee camp in Timai, Nepal, to becoming a proud U.S. citizen in Pennsylvania, my journey has been shaped by resilience, curiosity, and a deep passion for technology. My fascination started with something as simple as flipping a light switch and grew when I first used a computer, sparking a lifelong drive to create and innovate.
I began programming by building text-based games, which inspired me to pursue a Computer Science degree at Penn State Harrisburg. Along the way, I've complemented my education with hands-on experiences, including internships and community service that have deepened my technical and leadership skills.
At ST Global Tech LLC, I enhanced a Learning Management System by improving backend functionalities, crafting over 100 test cases, and resolving critical issues that increased system efficiency by 25%. At Asian Refugees United, a nonprofit close to my heart, I designed a mobile app to enhance digital engagement and facilitate donations, empowering the organization to connect with its community more effectively.
My work with Asian Refugees United extends beyond tech. It's a cornerstone of my commitment to community service, where I actively contribute to initiatives that support refugee communities. These experiences, paired with my leadership roles as Vice President of Lion Ambassadors and Treasurer of the Nepali Association Club, have taught me the value of teamwork, cultural connection, and making an impact.
I'm passionate about leveraging my technical skills in Java, C++, Python, and web development to solve real-world problems and create meaningful change. Let's connect and explore how we can build something impactful together!
